2008 Demo to Giareda 2008

In the event organized by my school (Futuro Bonsai School Project), the Giareda of Reggio Emilia, I drive the wonderful opportunity to participate in a demo with my friend Andrea Trevisan ..
The plant in question is a pine yamdori, gathered in the French Alps by Mauro Stemberger, a remarkable plant owned by the same Andrea, and I thank him publicly for giving me the opportunity to assist in the work done on the plant.

Andrea's idea is to build a plant in the fall or so, then he has prepared in the making months prior to a fold of the main branch, to lower the vegetation can shrink and make the same cascade ...

The spinning of the Scots pine is done quite easily, it is important to do a good cleaning of the needles, so you can get freely to the tuft needle and directing the shoot apex in the right direction ...

After a full day of work this is the end result ..

result that we were very happy because the plant was not easy to approach, the vegetation was a little far away and then they had to make several turns for the compaction.
Now it is important to stabilize the pine after the stress, cultivate it better to have a good back off a bit and shorten the design of the plant.
Everything is in the hands of Andrew, then in ottimissime hands, I hope to be able to assist again in the future, who knows maybe on this very same plant!
